Reward and task types

Task center will be divided into two segments: Ecosystem tasks, and with the release of Gifthorse Tycoon - To-Do.

Ecosystem tasks will consist of tasks related to external partnerships and Gifthorse exclusives. There will be a limited set of tasks during the early release, but with the ecosystem's growth, multiple tasks will be available for user’s completion.

Such tasks will only generate AP’s and mystery rewards revealed later during the early stage of Tycoon season.

To-Do tasks, which will be released together with Tycoon, will be fully related to the game, available to be progressed only through gameplay, and rewarding users with various boosts for their virtual empires, such as in-game currency, skins, loot boxes or even limited items that will be paired with promotions, events and celebrations. In addition to that, completion of certain To-Do tasks will reward players with cross-wipe rewards that increase the progression speed of future wipes.

Types of Rewards:

  • “Mystery Reward” presented in 5 different rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Those rewards will be obtained for completing a task, where rarity will depend on task difficulty and time required to complete it. Each of those rewards will be revealed at a certain moment of the ecosystem lifecycle. Mystery Rewards are not earned for every task.

  • “AP” will be awarded for every task, the amount will depend on task difficulty and time required to complete it.

Types of Tasks:

  • Tycoon tasks (To-Do). For example: Earn 100 gold.

  • Tycoon tasks (Task Center, Global). For example: Play Tycoon for the first time.

  • Marketing tasks. For example: View new Gifthorse video.

  • Partner tasks. For example: Join a partner's Telegram channel.

  • Data tasks. For example: Complete a questionnaire regarding our recent update.

  • Educational tasks. For example: Read a new article about Gifthorse.
